In April 2020, in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, School launched The Head’s Extraordinary Hardship Fund.
The crisis has had a long-lasting impact on the finances of a number of our families whose incomes have simply been devastated as a result of isolation and social distancing. For these families, even with the 20% discount that school announced in April, they are still unable to cover the cost of their school fees. The Hardship Fund has been set-up as a ring-fenced, means tested fund, solely to support those families most seriously financially affected by the crisis.
Governors took the decision that the School would make an initial donation of £100,000 to the fund and over the past weeks we have also been overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of several CHS families and Friends who have either continued to pay their fees in full or have asked to made a donation to the Hardship Fund.
We are hugely appreciative of all donations we have received and our thanks go out to everyone who has made a contribution to the fund so far.
We would be extremely grateful for any further donations, big or small, to this unique hardship fund to support and help our current families and ensure that everyone currently at Clifton High is assured continuity in their education.
Your donation will be eligible for Gift Aid so increasing the amount we are able to receive. In order to make your donation, please visit the support us page or email friends@cliftonhigh.co.uk
